The sky's mysterious nature intrigued the Victorians, and it represented the realm of dreams, magic, and the hidden aspects of life. Stars and crescent moons were a popular motif, and this star piece is set with banded agate and pearl. Crafted in 15k gold throughout, this brooch features a locket back and alternating stones. The centre is set with banded agate, with that typical, strong single strip down the centre- with perfectly matched stones alternating at each point of the star. The natural pearls create a lovely colour contrast, creating a cluster around the centre agate. Looks great worn as a brooch, but also as a pendant.
