This fabulous 18ct Yellow Gold ring boasts a rich red Almandine Garnet, Circa 1800.
Almandine Garnets are a type of Garnet which boasts a deep red colour inclining to purple.
The central Almandine Garnet is 0.80ct.
The ring is flanked with beautiful Emeralds and Pearls.
Emerald derives its beautiful green colour from the presence of chromium and vanadium. The Emerald is the sacred stone of the goddess Venus, it was thought to preserve love.
The two grassy green Emeralds are 0.18ct each.
A halo of lustrous Pearls surround this lovely ring.
Pearls have a wonderful lustre with a rich creamy tone, they are lovely lustrous and natural.
The ring is set in the Suffragette colours however it is much older than this period.
